The Sked comes equipped for horizontal hoisting by helicopter or vertical hoisting in caves or industrial confined spaces.
When the patient is packaged the stretcher becomes rigid. The durable plastic provides protection for the patient while allowing extrication through the most demanding confined spaces. The stretcher is rolled for storage in a tough cordura backpack which is included with the system. The system ships at 19 lbs and comes complete for most applications.
This stretcher is widely used by the rescue services because of its versatility, it can be used as a sledge in sewers and on hillsides as well as being attached to a winch and lifted vertically. Apollo Basket Stretcher
A rigid stretcher for the recovery and transport of patients in an emergency situation. It protects the casualty from sidelong collisions and with 12 handles can be used in a wide range of rescue applications including rope, hand and helicopter.
The stretcher comes complete with 4 immobilisation straps, perimeter rope, mattress and foot rest to prevent the longitudinal movements of the casualty.
The stretcher weights 18kg, can support a load capacity of 159kg and is easy to maintain and clean.
Ash Drag Mat / Blanket Stretcher
The Ash Drag Mat / Blanket Stretcher is designed to be light and easy to deploy where the casualty can be in a cramped position. It can be rolled up or folded so can access the tightest of situations.
The Ash Drag Mat / Blanket Stretcher deploys easily so that the casualty can be rolled or pulled onto it and then pulled back through tunnels or any other confined space. This requires far less strength that an actual lift.
Fitted with 6 handles it can also double up as a stretcher once the casualty is out providing assessment of the injury deems this safe.
The Ash Drag Mat / Blanket Stretcher materials have not been ATEX tested, so should not be used in zoned areas.
