Air Quality Testing & Smoke Tubes

The F6000 safe-air tester enables breathing air tests to be conducted easily and quickly. The set is supplied in a tough impact and weather resistant case but can be used as a standalone unit should this be more convenient.

It is fitted with internal rechargeable lithium batteries and has a backup battery tray for AA alkaline type batteries or can be used with a mains power supply. The unit has a colour touch screen and a menu driven display making the testing both easy and quick to complete with a standard test taking about 10 minutes.

The F6000 safe-air tester is designed for low-pressure airline breathing systems but can be used with a high-pressure regulator assembly to test high pressure cylinders.

The breathing-air supply is subjected to an automatically controlled test against the requirements of BS EN 12021: 2104 and incorporates electronic cells for carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and oxygen. Moisture levels are measured by a dewpoint sensor which is suited for air quality testing which gives an accurate moisture reading within the test time. The unit includes an electronic flowmeter for measuring air flow rates up to 600 l/min, a digital display for airline pressure and ambient temperature readings. Oil measurements are completed using an oil impactor which is inserted into a test port on the instrument.

The test results can be stored on the unit up to a maximum number of 20 results and then downloaded via USB to PC compatible software where records can be stored and printed. If the records have reached 20 then you must delete at least one before another test can take place.

The Uniphos Air Purity Test Kit provides everything that you require to ensure that your high-pressure air system can be checked to EN 12021 for providing breathable air.

This test system comes in its own transit case with hoses and everything you need to test either 200 or 300 bar systems.

The test rig has a flow gauge so that you can verify the flows to ensure accuracy before commencing with the test. The actual rig can be used on female outlet 200 or 300 bar din fittings but also has female to female converters for those systems with a male output.

The rig uses all 4 detection tubes at the same time so reduces the time to carry out the test. Each port has a pre-set flow rate and is marked to suit each of the 4 tubes required. There is also a timer provided as 3 tubes require reading at 5 minutes and the oil at 24 minutes. A special tube cutting tool is also included and this contains the end of the glass tubes that have been cut so they can be disposed of safely.
