The BM25 Transportable area monitor is capable of monitoring one – five gases through diffusion or sample draw. The BM25 packs all the benefits of a fixed-system area monitor into an easily transportable instrument.

There are 17 interchangeable “smart” sensor options available for the BM25 making the system easily adaptable to a variety of applications and industries. When the BM25 detects a hazardous level of oxygen, toxic or combustible gas, the top mounted beacon sends a flashing, bright signal in all directions while emitting a powerful, 103 dB siren alarm.

The BM25 can be used as a stand-alone unit or can be linked together so the alarm signals are passed through each unit.

Long-term area monitoring is possible in hazardous area with this items unique intrinsically safe trickle charge power supply. Also standard are STEL and TWA readings and nearly four months of data logging capacity for a five-gas configuration.

The BM25 Wireless allows several devices to communicate on the same network or to send information wirelessly to a controller. The network topology used by the BM25 wireless is a MESH network. In a mesh network all hosts are connected peer to peer without central hierarchy, thereby forming a net-like structure. Each unit can receive, send and relay data. This prevents, having sensitive points. If one unit goes down it goes through another route.

Wireless communication is made via a 2.4 GHz radio and emitted power is less than 100 mW. Maximum distance between two communicating devices id 0.6 mile line of slight.

The DetectiveIQ area monitor is a multi-gas unit that can be used as a standalone unit or linked together with other units via it's built in wireless Bluetooth mesh system to form a perimeter.

Up to 250 devices can be connected over 10 groups. Each group of 25 devices can cover 2.5km with up to 100m line-of-sight spacing between units. In the event of an alarm the unit detecting the gas will indicate with red light bar and an audible alarm, other units linked will have a flashing amber and red light along with the audible alarm so you can determine where the gas alarm is occuring.

The DetectiveIQ has up to 15 weeks of runtime on a single charge and a quick recharge time of 8 hours.

The units can simultaneously detect up to 7 gases in real time with fast T90 response times of <20 seconds for key gases. Interchangeable gas sensor slots support electrochemical, PID, infrared, MPS, pellistor and long-life O2 sensors.

The DetectiveIQ is rated IP66 and IP68 for water and impact resistance, ensuring reliability in harsh environments. It is also certified for explosive atmospheres: ATEX/IECEx Zone 0 and CSA C1D1, making it suitable for hazardous areas.
